Goal: see what generative AI can create and make your own picture.

What you'll learn

• Know what generative AI can make
• Create one image with a free tool

Step 1 · What it can make

• Pictures: describe it, and AI draws it (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Grok can all do this free, with daily limits)
• Video: short clips from a description (mostly paid or very limited free)
• Music: songs with lyrics from a description (apps like Suno)
• Voices: reading text aloud in realistic voices, or copying a real voice

Step 2 · Make a picture

Open ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot and use the 4-part recipe:

Create a picture of a cosy Queensland verandah at sunset with a sleeping kelpie, warm colours, painted watercolour style.

Then tweak it: "Add a cup of tea on the table."
